Singles, couples and beginners are welcome to attend Ballroom Dancing, starting May 1, at the Portuguese Cultural Center in Danbury.
The center at 65 Sand Pit Road will offer the dancing every Wednesday from 7 to 11 p.m., with a dance lesson from 7:15 to 7:45 p.m.
All you need to do is put on a special outfit “to impress” and pay an entry fee of $20 admission (includes buffet).
The center is fully open and operational. Its banquet hall was part of extensive renovations to the building that was forced to close due to damage from snowstorms in early 2011.
