NEWTOWN — A 53-year-old local man is facing drunk driving charges from a Jan. 26 accident.
Kevin J. Gordon, of Philo Curtis Road, Newtown turned himself in to Newtown Police Aug. 17 on a warrant stemming from an investigation into a Jan. 26 accident in area of 44 Swamp Road in Newtown.
Gordon is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failure to drive in the proper lane on a multi-lane highway and failure to carry insurance or registration ID.
He was released on $100 bond with a court date of Aug. 28 in Superior Court in Danbury.
