Chicken Soup editor to speak, sign book in Ridgefield

Amy Newmark, publisher and editor-in-chief of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book series, will give a talk offering support and encouragement to caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease at Ridgefield Library, 427 Main St. in Ridgefield, at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 3.

Chicken SoupIn collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association, her book, “Chicken Soup for the Soul: Living with Alzheimer’s & Other Dementias,” includes advice and tips for families and caregivers of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Royalties from book sales will directly benefit the Friends of the Ridgefield Library and the Alzheimer’s Association.  Newmark will be available after the talk for a book signing.

This event is co-sponsored by Laurel Ridge Health Care Center and the Ridgefield Library.  Light refreshments will be provided by Laurel Ridge at this complimentary event.
