NEW MILFORD — A 42-year-old Danbury man is facing reckless driving and evading responsibility charges after leaving the scene of a motorcycle accident in which a rider was injured.
Jimmie Stallings, of South Street, Danbury was located and arrested Aug. 27 after leaving the scene of a crash where a woman riding with him on his motorcycle was ejected, police said. The unnamed woman was transported to Danbury Hospital with minor injuries.
Stalling was charged with evading responsibility, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license or registration and interfering with a police officer /non-assaultive.
He was released on $20,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 8 in Superior Court in Bantam.
