Route 58 in Bethel will remain closed through Wednesday, Sept. 24 to complete a bridge replacement.
The closure is between Starr Lane and Hoyts Hill Road. Drivers are asked to use the detour from Putnam Park Road onto Glassy Plain Road.
Detour signs will be up to help drivers.
Crews have removed the existing stone masonry culvert and installed precast concrete box culvert on the bridge over Putnam Brook. The project was scheduled to finish on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
