The Knights of Columbus Loyal Council #30 will hold the local level of the Soccer Challenge Championship for boys and girls ages 9 to 14 on the soccer field at Henry Abbott Technical High School, 21 Hayestown Ave., Danbury, from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 4.

Youth soccer contest will take place in Danbury Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014.
Registration, which is free, will begin at 1:30 p.m. for this competition in accuracy penalty kicks at a partitioned goal. Parents must bring proof of child’s age. Winners in their respective age categories will advance to the district/regional/state levels.
In case of rain, the competition will take place Sunday at the same time and place.
