A Flanders Outdoor Adventure, during which kids in kindergarten through fifth grade can enjoy a full day exploring the trails, forest pond and fields of Flanders Nature Center, 5 Church Hill Road in Woodbury, is planned for Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will look for tracks and signs of what animals are doing to get ready for winter, and visit the farm flock of Shetland sheep and try making their own creation out of wool.

Then from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, there will be a Nature Safari, when kids can hike the trails to discover wildlife at Flanders and search for the secret stairs in the woods, learning facts, stories and the history of animals getting ready for the long winter months.
Both Fun Days will start from the Flanders Trail House. Pre-registration is required. Each session is $35 for Flanders members and $45 for non-members. Before and after care also available for an extra fee.
