Western Connecticut State University’s swimming and diving team is raising funds to benefit Shaun Bailey, women’s assistant soccer coach diagnosed with a brain tumor.

On Sunday the team will host “Swim Strong for Shaun,” a swim-a-thon in the O’Neill Center Aditorium on the university’s Westside campus at 43 Lake Ave. Extension
The community is invited to support a WCSU swimmer or diver by pledging a flat donation of $5. For a $10 donation, supporters can join the team in the pool.
