Connecticut State Police have re-released a wanted poster for the suspected intruder in a violent 2012 home invasion in New Fairfield.
Lt. Paul Vance, head of communications for the State Police, said that showing the poster again will help lead police in finding the intruder.

On Sept. 25, 2012 the New Fairfield Resident Trooper responded to a residential burglary and assault on Newfane Rd in New Fairfield, police said.
According to the police report, a woman had interrupted the burglary by entering the home. She was was confronted and assaulted, by the intruder.
The suspect was describe as a black male with a medium complexion and brown eyes. Around 30-years-old and was between 5’8 to 5’10 feet tall.
After assaulting the woman, the man ran from the home and two years later, has yet to be found police.
“We are shaking the tree and restating the facts,” Vance said. “We know someone knows who this man is.”
