NEWTOWN — A four car crash sent one person to Danbury Hospital Dec. 5.
On Dec. 5 about 6:40 p.m. a 2008 Nissan driven by Deborah Johnston, of Fairfield, was traveling southbound on Main Street when a 2004 Dodge driven by Mary Katheryn M. Molin, of Great Hill Road, Newtown entered the southbound lane of Main Street from the westbound lane of Church Hill Road and Johnston’s car hit Molin’s, police said.
Molin’s car continued forward and struck two unoccupied cars parked off the road on the south side of Main Street, police said.
Johnston, 56, and an occupant from Molin’s car, Emma Duvula, 36, of Tauton Ridge Road, Newtown were taken by ambulance to Danbury Hospital, according to police. No information has been released on their condition.
Molin was issued a ticket for failure to grant the right of way at a stop sign.
