A Massachusetts man was found passed out in a Bethel grocery store parking lot with a syringe full of heroin in his hand, police said.
Shawn Hill, 38, of Tewksbury, MA. was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia by Bethel police on Thursday.
Officers were called to the Big Y on Stony Hill Road after Hill was seen slumped over the front seat of his car, police said. When officer revived Hill, he admitted to using heroin and Alprazolam.
A syringe full of heroin, a spoon, a bottle of Alprazolam and other heroin paraphernalia were found in Hull’s car, police said.
Hill is being held on a $2,500 bond and he has not been released. His next court date will be on Jan. 6.
