Police have found a body, reported a member of the Danbury News-Times staff. Police have covered the body in a white sheet.
No details on the person have been released.
Update 11:43 a.m.
Officers are patrolling around the high bridge of I-84 near Brewster, said Capt. William McNamara of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
McNamara said they are responding to calls that someone either jumped or fell from the bridge, but nothing has been confirmed as the investigation is on going.
Route 22 between Main Street and Old Milltown Road is also closed.
Update 11:30 a.m.
Route 22 between Milltown Road and I-84 is closed for a police investigation. Drivers can expect delays up to 30 minutes.

There have been reports that a person has fallen from an overpass on Interstate 84 near Brewster, New York.
Brewster State Police would not confirm, but did say there was a lot of police activity in the area and traffic is backed up along the interstate.
