NEWTOWN — Police are urging Newtown residents to be vigilant about securing their homes and valuable due to a string of burglaries in the town over the past two months.
Police caution residents to pay special attention to vacant homes in their neighborhoods and to call police if someone tries to solicit business or if a strange car is seen in their neighborhood.
Anyone with old or new information regarding burglaries is asked to call Newtown Police Department at 203-426-5841 or 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.
