NEW MILFORD — A convicted drug dealer was arrested Monday during a routing traffic stop in New Milford.
Scott Buckingham, of Main North St., Bridgewater, was charged with violation of probation after the officer who stopped him learned there was a warrant for his arrest.
Buckingham was sentenced in October 2011 to three years of probation and 12 years in jail, with execution suspended after two years, for the sale of hallucinogens and/or narcotics, according to the Department of Justice website.
He was held in lieu of $50,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Tuesday in Bantam Superior Court.
