BROOKFIELD — A 46 year old local man is facing drunken driving charges following a motor vehicle crash in injuries.
Jason Lapointe, of Ashwood Lane, Brookfield was arrested Saturday following a two vehicle crash about 7:33 p.m. on Obtuse Hill Road, police said. Lapointe was one of the drivers invovled in the crash and following an investigation and failed field sobriety test by Lapointe, he was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failur to drive in the proper lane and failure to carry certificate of registration/insurance ID, police said.
Lapointe was released on $500 bond with court on March 17 in Superior Court in Danbury.
Two passengers in the second vehicle experienced minor injuries, according to police.
