UPDATE: MARCH 16: 2:12 p.m. A Danbury Hospital spokesman reports that Anne Kisver remains in serious condition from Sunday’s accident in New Milford.
UPDATE: MARCH 16: 1:36 p.m. New Milford Police Public Information Officer Larry Ash identified the woman stuck in a two car crash Sunday on Candlewood Lake Road North as Anne Kisver, 69, of New Milford.
Preliminary investigation shows that Kisver’s vehicle was stopped on the road and she was out of the vehicle when she was struck by a passing motorist, Peter Pfeifer, 62, also of New Milford, Ash said. Indications are that Pfeifer’s vehicle initially hit Kisver’s car door before striking her.
Kisver was taken to Danbury Hospital by ambulance from the accident scene Sunday night in serious condition.
UPDATE: MARCH 16: 12:09 p.m. New Milford Police report that the pedestrian struck Sunday night about 7:13 p.m. on Candlewood Lake Road North was struck by two vehicles involved in a crash. Both cars were towed from the scene and impounded.

UPDATE: MARCH 15: 8:15 p.m. Candlewood Lake Road North remained closed to Jerusalem Hill. The pedestrian was taken to Danbury Hospital with serious injuries, according to police. The age and gender of the pedestrian were not released at this time.

NEW MILFORD — Police are on the scene of a car versus pedestrian accident on Candlewood Lake Road North Sunday at 7:33 p.m. The road was being closed off.
