NEW MILFORD — New Milford Police responded to a four vehicle accident Wednesday morning at the intersection of Danbury Road and Bridge Street about 9:15 a.m.
A 2007 Chrysler Caravan driven by Melissa Alford, of Kent Road, New Milford, traveling northbound on Danbury Road failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and collided with a 2010 Chevy pickup truck that was traveling eastbound from Peagler Hill Road, police said. The truck was driven by Joseph Daniel, of Shelton, CT.
Police reported that the impact caused the Chevy truck to spin counter clockwise and into two vehicles stopped on Bridge Street at the intersection.
Alford was taken to Danbury Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and Daniel was taken to New Milford Hospital, also with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Details on any charges in the incident were not released.
