An 18-year-old Danbury man was arrested during a drug deal at Tarrywile Park Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Police detectives were conducting a surveillance in the upper parking lot of the park at about 5 p.m. when they saw Brian Berrios, of Maple Avenue, conducting a drug transaction in a car, according to the report.
Police said the suspect had about 11 grams of marijuana, $155 in cash and a digital scale.
He was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At police headquarters, officers learned Berrios had an arrest warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on $103 bond for that warrant and will appear in court April 23 to respond to the drug charges.
