Danbury police arrested a woman they said was threatening to cut people near a crowded bus station Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called at about 4:30 p.m. to the area of 2 Kennedy Ave., where a suspect wearing a pink and white flannel was carrying a razor in her pocket and yelling at pedestrians at a bus station, according to the report.

When police found the Danbury woman, she tried to conceal the razor box cutter but was immediately taken into custody, police said.

Melissa “Meme” Myers, 43, of Coalpit Hill Road, was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and breach of peace.

She’s being held in lieu of $5,000 bond.
