DANBURY — Police said a Danbury man was caught with heroin Monday while being booked on domestic violence charges at police headquarters.
Julio Cabello, 35, of Foster Street, was initially charged with third-degree assault, threatening, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct following a domestic incident at about 2 p.m., according to the report.
During the booking process at the police station, officers found four small packages of suspected heroin inside Cabello’s wallet, police said. The powder later tested positive for heroin and he was also charged with illegal possession of narcotics, according to police.
Cabello is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.
