NEW MILFORD — The Hunt Hill Farm Trust has named a new interim director Kate Vengrove, who will oversee the fundrasing, programming and strategic planning for The Silo and Hunt Hill Farm.
Vengrove was previously the direcotr of the annual fund and special events at The Forman School in Litchfield. She has been involved with many area causes from the New Milford Hospital “honoring our Heroes” event committee to the New Milford MOMS Club.
Prior to that, Vengrove was assistant development director at the Zoellner Arts Center at Leighigh University in Pennsylvania. Before that, she was an administrative assistant at the Barrington Stage Company in Massachusetts.
Currently she is a participant with several singing groups including the choir at First Congreagtaional Church in Washington and The Kent Singers.
“We are thrilled to have Kate lead our team here at The Silo,” said Scott Mulhare, treasurer. “She has a wonderful background of experience as well as a broad knowledge of music, art, cuisine and communtiy.”
Mulhare said it is a “fresh start” at The Silo and Hunt Hill Farm. The trust’s executive director Liba Furhman left her position in April after four years.
