NEWTOWN — Officers arrested a suspected burglar after an “extensive search” using a K9 dog last Friday, police said.
When police arrived at a Parmalee Hill Road for a report of an active burglary, the suspect ran into the woods and hid inside a nearby house, according to the report.
Nathaniel Greenfield was found and charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief and interfering with police.
He was held on $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court May 11.
