The Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association has appointed Heather McGhie its director of Home Care, which is RVNA’s non-medical subsidiary.
McGhie, a licensed practical nurse and a certified Choices Counselor, has more than 33 years of experience. The New Milford resident was previously director of VNA Home, Inc.
“I love being able to help seniors remain safely in their homes,” McGhie said, “and I know that RVNA is committed to the same objective.”
Home Care provides live-ins, home health aides, homemakers and companions to clients whose needs do not require medical oversight.
