New Milford — New Milford High School was dismissed at 1 p.m. Wednesday in response to a possible threat.
The New Milford Police Department and CT State Police are investigating, according to Superintendent of Schools JeanAnn Paddyfote.
Paddyfote referred questions regarding the nature of the threat to New Milford Police. Lt. Larry Ash, public relations officer at NMPD, was not immediately available for comment.
All afternoon activities have been canceled at the school. The state boys lacrosse game today was relocated to Brookfield High School at 4:30 p.m.
