The fire at Casagmo condominiums in Ridgefield that killed 77-year-old Sandra Reyes in April was ruled to be an accident, the Ridgefield Fire Department announced Wednesday.
The blaze was the result of a halogen light that came in contact with loose clothing on a sofa and adjacent bed, the Fire Marshal’s Office said.
The case in now considered closed.
