Fire on Painter Hill in Roxbury June 24 in afternoon
UPDATE: JUNE 24: 3:30 p.m. The Roxbury fire at 154 Painter Hill Road was reported to be under control by firefighters. Details on the blaze still not released. The house is listed on the Roxbury assessor’s office as being owned by Danielle and Shannon Young. It is a 3,000-square-foot contemporary house built in 2002.

ROXBURY — Mutual aid has been requested from Bridgewater, Washington and Northville fire departments for a house fire on Painter Hill Road in Roxbury at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene.
Dispatch reports that the incident started as a dryer fire but has spread since initially called in.
