Area residents considering taking classes for college credit this spring are invited to attend one of Naugatuck Valley Community College’s Express Start Walk-In days.
Walk-In days are an opportunity for students to complete the entire college admissions and enrollment processes in one day. Attendees can expect to apply to the college and for financial aid, take the placement test, meet with an advisor and register and pay for classes.
Credit classes begin Jan. 22.
Walk-In days have been set for Wed., Jan. 15 from 10-4 p.m. in Waterbury, Sat., Jan. 18 from 8-2 p.m. in both Waterbury and Danbury, and Tues., Jan. 21 from 8-2 p.m. in Waterbury.
First-time students can complete a college application ahead of time by visiting www.nv.edu/walkin. Anyone who cannot attend the walk-in dates will also find information about scheduling individual appointments with advisors online. For more information call 203-575-8054.
