The anniversary of an event that rocked the world of teen girls in the U.S. is fast approaching. Reminisce, or learn more about it, when “The Beatles: Band of the Sixties” is presented at the Brookfield Library, 182 Whisconier Road, tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 17) from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
It was 50 years ago next month that the Fab Four landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in NYC to find a crowd of 4,000 waiting to welcome them. Aaron Krerowicz will share audio clips of the Beatles’ music and excerpts from interviews with band members when he talks about the Beatles.
The program is free, but online registration is requested. Visit http://www.brookfieldlibrary.org/event-information?ee=1552 or call 203-775-6241.
