DANBURY — Police charged two motorists with drunken driving as the result of incidents that occurred late Sunday and early Monday.
Hector SanMartin, 53, of Durant Street, was charged after police responded to an accident on North Street shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
He was also cited for operating without a license and following too close, police said. No one was hurt in the accident.
Jose Salinas, 50, of Ninth Street, was charged after an officer on routine patrol spotted him driving the wrong way on Balmforth Avenue about 2:20 a.m. on Monday.
Salinas was also cited for disobeying an officer’s signal, driving without a license and driving the wrong way on a one-way street, police said.
