Ruth Henderson was a remarkable woman – by all accounts warm, charming and profoundly capable of taking on any job and succeeding..
She and her husband Skitch Henderson transformed their New Milford farm into Hunt Hill Farm Trust, a cultural center that affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution. She also ran The Silo – a store, cooking school and art galley a tthe farm.
She was an prolific fund-raiser, who generally could convince people to share in her enthusiasm.
