Ridgefield budget hearing on March 26

The Ridgefield Board of Finance will hold its annual budget hearing on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. at East Ridge Middle School.
The hearing will give town residents a chance to comment on the proposed 2014-15 town budget of $131.5 million. That include a town  operating budget of $33.2 million; a school budget of $85.2 million; and town debt of about $12.9 million.
The  finance board will begin its budget deliberations on March 31.  It will complete its work in April. There will be a town meeting on the budget on May 5 and a budget .
