Police are closing off Hospital Avenue at Osborne Street due to the downed wire. The closure will include all of Hospital Avenue to Tamarack Avenue.
DANBURY — Police and fire crews have responded to a downed wire in the area of Hospital Avenue and Locust Street.
The sparking wire is creating an exposure risk to cars and buildings in the area, which firefighters have ordered evacuated.
A crew from Connecticut Light and Power has been called to respond to the scene.
