nature-nanuqsaurus-march14Thanks  to movies, we think we know what Tyrannosaurus Rex looked like. Certainly, “Jurassic Park” had it right, Right?

Only now archeologists think they were much different – maybe even feathered.

And now they’ve found fossil remains of  a much smaller T-rex  along an Alaskan river above the Arctic Circle.

It’s proof that dinosaurs could live in extreme cold. It also may show that animals, even dinosaurs, evolved to suit their habitat. In a cold climate, where there was less game, smaller might have been better for survival.

Here’s an article about it: http://www.nature.com/news/diminutive-dinosaur-stalked-the-arctic-1.14859
