DOT plans short closure of Bethel’s South Street 3/28-4/2

State DOT officials announced that beginning March 28, and continuing through April 2, South Street in Bethel will be closed to all traffic at the railroad crossing for replacement of the railroad grade crossing platform and improvements to the storm drain system.
Residents are strongly urged to seek alternative routes in advance of the road closure.
