The Ridgefield Board of Selectmen will concentrate their negotiations of selling 10 acres of land at the Schlumberger-Doll Research Center to Toll Brothers, which has offered to buy the land for $4 million.

The company, which builds luxury condominiums, wants to build 30 condominium units on the land.

The board met is executive session on the sale Wednesday.

Thursday, First Selectmen Rudy Marconi said the selectmen will continue negotiating with Toll Brothers on the sale. It is not considering any other bids, Marconi said

Toll Brothers was one of two firms to offer to buy the land for$ 4 million. However this month, the selectmen voted to accept the bid of  Residential Investments LLC,  a subsidiary of Fairfield County Bank.

However, Residential Investments decided this week that it was no longer interested in the project. The selectmen then decided to revisit the  Toll Brothers offer.
