The Ridgfield Board of Selectmen will hold a special meeting Monday, March 24 at 3 p.m. to discuss the future of 10 acres of the Sclumberger-Doll Research Center property
The board will meet in executive session. It may go into open session to take a vote on the sale of the property when the executive session ends.
Earlier this month, the board had approved the sale of the land on Sunset Lane for $4 million to Residential Investments LLC, a subsidiary of Fairfield County Bank.
The company decided to withdraw its offer. The selectmen are now considering selling the land to Toll Brothers, also for $4 million. The company wants to build 30 condominiums there.
