The California-based real estate site Movoto recently named the 10 best places to live in Connecticut, and Danbury and Bethel made the list.

- Total amenities
- Quality of life (cost of living, median home price, median rent, median household income, and student-teacher ratio)
- Total crimes
- Tax rates (sales tax and income tax)
- Unemployment
- Commute time
- Weather (temperature and air quality)
