NEW MILFORD — A 44-year-old New Milford man pleaded not guilty in state Superior Court in Bantam Wednesday to drunken driving and other charges stemming from a two-car accident that injured an 18-year-old woman in February.
Todd J. Rossi, of Pilgrim’s Way, also was behind the wheel of the vehicle that collided with the woman’s car on Colonial Ridge Road on the evening of Feb. 16, according to police. The woman, a college student who also lives in New Milford, sustained a concussion, back and neck sprain and multiple cuts and bruises in the crash, according to her attorney.
Rossi is also charged with evading responsibility, traveling too fast for conditions and interfering with an officer as a result of the accident.
He remains free on $2,500 bond and is due back in court on May 9.
