RIDGEFIELD — Police arrested three people and seized significant amounts of cocaine, heroin and prescription pills when they broke up a suspected drug transaction in a Danbury Road parking lot Tuesday evening.
Detectives put the lot under surveillance after police observed the three behaving in a suspicious manner about 8:45 p.m. according to Capt. Jeff Kreitz,.
Upon further investigation the three were taken into custody and police seized 69 packets of heroin, approximately 45 grams of cocaine, prescription drugs and a knife.
Police charged Christopher Ruggiero, 30, of Waterbury, with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and weapons in a motor vehicle.
Kevin Fleischmann, 27, and Katherine Saleeby, 23, both of Meadow View Drive, were charged with possession of narcotics.
All three were released on bond pending appearances in state Superior Court in Danbury on April 16.
