Western Connecticut State University will host a lecture by solar power specialist Dru Bacon about solar and wind energy conversion in Science Building Room 125 on the university’s Midtown campus in Danbury, Thursday, April 10, at 7 p.m.
The public lecture, sponsored by the WCSU Goodall Center for Excellence in Environmental Studies, will focus on the environmental impact and the energy generation and consumer costs of solar and wind energy usage, in comparison with the costs and environmental effects of dependence on conventional power generation using coal, oil and natural gas resources.
