Ana Grace project Dec. 2 urges community connections

The inaugural initiative of the Ana Grace Project, “Love Wins: Promoting Love, Connection and Community for Every Child and Family” will take place Dec. 2.
The daylong conference will be from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Theater at the University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Ave. in West Hartford.
The conference is named for Ana Grace Greene, one of the 20 first graders who died in the Sandy Hook School shooting last Dec. 14.
Dr. Bruce Perry, author of “Born for Love: Why Empathy is Essential and Endangered,” will be the keynote speaker.
Western Connecticut State University political Science professor Chris Kukk will take part.
The public is invited and CEUs are available.
