The Water Witch squad # 7 will have its annual Mother’s Day flower sale at 37 Locust Ave. in Danbury today (Friday) until 8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 7 a.m. until the sale is sold out.
The annual Mother’s Day flower sale is going on now at the Water Witch volunteer firehouse, 37 Locust Ave. in Danbury.
A variety of flowers at different prices will be available.
Founded in 1889, Water Witch squad # 7 will be celebrating its 125th anniversary later this year.
Funds raised from the flower sale will help the department keep its gear in good working order, obtain new equipment and maintain the firehouse.
” Help us, Help you,” wrote Capt. Dave Torres in an email. Water Witch is a volunteer fire department. During the sale, people can take a look around the firehouse, meet some firefighters, and see some of the equipment they use. Children will enjoy seeing the fire truck – perhaps a photo of them sitting in the truck would make a nice Mother’s Day gift along with some flowers!
