The Danbury Police Department responded to reports of a dead dog found in the back of a parked car around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said, that a car was illegally parked at the Brookside Condos on 7 Padanaram Road. As the car was about to be towed, witnesses saw the dog lying in a crate.
Police and animal control are investigating the scene. No word on details of the dog or its death, as well as no information on suspects at this time.
