Danbury and surrounding towns will have showers and thunderstorms through out Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, light showers will begin in the morning and a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms after 1:00 p.m.
Thunderstorms will continue in to the evening, with only a small chance of showers after 11:00 p.m.
The high for today will be in the high 70′s with humidity. Drivers should use caution during the morning commute.
