Update: 11:30 a.m.
It has been confirmed that there is a problem with a circuit board in an air handler on the roof of Berry School, Knickerbocker said. The air handler was blowing smoke into the Circle of Friends area.
Circle of Friends students are being dismissed from Bethel High School and second afternoon session has been cancelled. Berry School students are in the Bethel High School gymnasium.
Update: 11:19 a.m.
All students and teachers have been evacuated from Berry School, due to an automatic fire alarm earlier this morning.
First Selectman Mathew Knickerbocker said that firefighters were called to the school after a burning electrical smell was reported.
Firefighters are concentrating on the Circle of Friends side of the school.
