Snow showers will begin around 7 a.m. for Danbury and surrounding towns. According to the National Weather Service, it is still going to be a cold and wind day, with wind chill values between zero and 10. There will also be wind gusts as high as 32 miles per hour.
The total daytime snow accumulation will be between one and three inches, according to the National Weather Service. While snow will only last for a few hours at a time, it will be heavy.
Roadways will be snow covered, making for a rough ride to work for commuters. There will also be strong gust of winds blowing snow, which will reduce visibility, according to the National Weather Service.
