Traditional Christmas Open House display of 1940s toy skaters pond
The Brookfield Historical Society 3rd Annual Traditional Christmas Open House is happening today, Saturday, until 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will also be held Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historical society museum 165 Whisconier Road (intersection Routes 25 and 133).Children’s toys from the 1940s and 1950s are on display as is a 1950s model train set complete with train whistle and trolley car on track above.Santa is stopping by each day with helpers offering complimentary treats for children. The event is free and open to the public.
