New York man charged in Danbury vehicle theft

MORRIS-A Wingdale, N.Y. man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the theft of a car reported stolen in Danbury last month.
State police from the Litchfield barracks charged Gregory Buturla, 24, with first- degree larceny by possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after troopers responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on West Morris Road just before noon.
An investigation determined that the vehicle had been stolen in Danbury on Nov. 15, police said.
Buturla was released on $10,000 bond for an appearance in state Superior Court in Bantam on Dec. 23.
