Meals on Wheels will hold a Guest Bartender Night at Ristorante Gallo, 5 Grove Street in Ridgefield, on Cinco de Mayo (May 5) from 6-9 p.m.
The not-for-profit charity will receive all bar tips, and 10 percent of all bar transactions and dinner checks in the main dining room when reservations are made mentioning Meals of Wheels.
There will also be raffles for prizes from the Ridgefield Liquor Shop, Turkey Ridge gift shop, Hutton’s Fine Men’s Wear and Ristorante Gallo. And there will be a prize for the best Cinco de Mayo-inspired costume.
Meals on Wheels has been preparing, packaging and delivering meals to Ridgefield residents who are unable to buy food or cook for themselves since 1972. Their clients received more than 20,000 lunches and dinners last year.
