The incident at Danbury’s AMC Loews movie theater Tuesday morning was a burnt-out projector bulb and there was no fire, Assistant Fire Chief Mark Omasta said.
The problem was confined to the projector and no one was injured, he said.

DANBURY — Firefighters were called to AMC Loews, 61 Eagle Road, Tuesday morning for a report of a possible fire inside a projection room, according to scanner reports.
The building was evacuated while fire officials investigate the incident, but it appears the alarm went off after a light bulb exploded, according to the reports.
